As a photographer, I am intrigued by the creation of culture and self-definition of identity. Most recently, I have been curious about my response to loss and the fragility of life. My work is intentionally small in scale, inviting you closer to the images, and to make a personal connection.
“An Exploration: Nature” experiments with monoprints. I depict strength that attracts me at this time of political dissonance. Reacting to the commodification of images, I chose a manual process that creates only one print at a time.

In “A Burst of Splendor,” I focus on flowers sold in wholesale markets. In their abandoned blooming, they seem invulnerable. Yet, the bodies in the shadows remind us, this time is fleeting.
